Summary:

Goals of the Seminar Series
This seminar series will include content from the California’s Infant/Toddler Learning Foundations, the Program Guidelines and the Curriculum Framework. Designed to support continuous improvement efforts of infant/ toddler programs, the seminar series will help participants to:

•  Deepen their understanding of the Infant/Toddler Learning and
    Development Foundations
•  Increase their knowledge and understanding of how children learn and best
    ways to facilitate their learning
•  Understand and plan effective infant/toddler curriculum
•  Recognize and support the central role of families in young children’s
    learning and development
•  Learn about the importance of culture and families
•  Create high-quality learning environments which effectively support early
    learning


Who Should Attend

Open to the Alameda County ECE community including Infant/Toddler program administrators, teachers and family child care providers. (Note: Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions in the series.)

Registration is required through First 5:

•    Priority will be given to participants who register for all 3 sessions of the
      Infant/Toddler Learning & Development System Seminar Series
