Introducing LIIF’s New Kids Are Our Business Fund

Now Child Care Centers and Family Child Care Providers in San Francisco and Alameda County who want to grow their business may qualify for a small business loan funded by the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF).

What we can offer you with the Kids Are Our Business Fund
•Affordable loans for up to $50,000 for Child Care Centers or up to $5,000 for Family Child Care Providers
•Up to Three years loan term for Child Care Centers and One year loan term for Family Child Care Providers
•Zero interest loan with 1% administration fee
•Funds can be used for materials or to do minor repairs and improvements to sustain or expand licensed small businesses

How do you know if you qualify? You must:
•Be licensed and operating for a minimum of 3 years in San Francisco or Alameda County
•Be serving children between the ages of 0-5 years old with 20% of the children from low to moderate income households
•Have a clear plan on how the investment will improve your business
