Now Accepting Application for Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS)

The Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS), is part of California’s Race to the Top, Early Learning Challenge Federal Grant. The goal of QRIS is to improve the quality of child care. Participants receive free quality assessments, and these, together with documentation of specific program practices, are used to provide a rating of their program and create a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
