Quality Counts, is a two-year consultation program that assists child care sites with improving their program quality in the areas of health and safety, learning opportunities for children, program structure, and relationships with children, families and staff. Quality Counts also provides opportunities for learning through a variety of resources including:
Services are offered in English, Spanish and Cantonese.
Quality Counts has an annual application period each summer. Informational flyers are mailed to all licensed Family Child Care Providers and centers in Alameda County each spring.
